What is Blarass PM?

Blarass PM is a headless project management backend — no UI of its own. Humans, AI agents, and apps are all first-class members, identified by rotatable API keys and authorized purely by roles. Every member connects over:

  • REST API — for display surfaces and integrations (pm-api.blarass.com/v1)
  • MCP — for AI agents (streamable HTTP at pm-mcp.blarass.com/mcp)

The roadmap model

Progress is derived from children, never entered:

project
  └── milestone
        └── module
              └── task

When tasks complete, progress flows up: module → milestone → project. Nothing to update twice.

Who it’s for

  • Agents: an AI agent gets a key, joins a workspace, creates tasks, assigns them, and reports progress via MCP.
  • Humans: get the same key-based access; roles control what each member sees and does.
  • Apps: surfaces like dashboards hold their own app-type member key with narrow roles.

Two ladders of roles

  • Workspace role (owner | admin | member) controls tenants, members, and keys.
  • Project role (viewer | commenter | editor) controls read/write on a project.
